Aston University was founded in 1895 and has been a University since 1966, Aston is a research-led University known for world-class teaching quality and strong links to industry, government and commerce. Over a 40 acre campus, Aston University offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes across four Schools of Study.. In 2006 Professor Dame Julia King became Vice-Chancellor of the University.

Aston University Campus Redevelopment

The £215 million Aston Student Village will transform student life at the University, providing 2,400 brand new rooms, which will be built to the highest standards. Over half of these opened in 2010 with Phase Two of the development due for completion in 2013.
